A Walk about Old Town Ronda
Ronda is location on a couple tall mesas in abroad, rolling plane ringed by mountains. The farmlands look as if time has stood still. The fields of sheep, olives, and row crops seems to be stuck in some other time.
Portions of the wall around the city has gates and fencing that has clearly been here for quite a while.
One of the shops sells small tiles made of terracotta with a ceramic coating on top. The ceramic layer is painted in a wide variety of scenes. Most are in the styles are reminiscent of medieval art. They are all really great. We bought one as a souvenir.
The streets of this wonderful town are filled with houses such as the one below. Colorful and interesting doors to boot.
Location:
29400 Ronda, Málaga, Spain
