A Duck and More Tortoises

Above is the white-cheeked pintail duck. These fellows are found from as far north as southern Florida and as a far south as the southern tip of South America. This one is just chillin' by the small pond where the tortoises are hanging out.

The tortoises always seem to be in the middle of meal and too oblivious to bother finishing chewing the latest plants grabbed.

This guy is "really sticking his neck out" for a drink of water.

It seems that he has judged that getting back out of the pond is too much work, so he's gonna sit on the bank and stretch.
