You can't get a feel for a city without a Hop-on Hop-off bus tour. since we did this just before Christmas, I called it a HoHoHo...Hop-on Hop-off Hobart...tour.
The ride out toward South Hobart took us along streets that, until the 60's, supported trams on the concrete portion in the center of the street. they were shut down because they were not profitable.
The multistorey Cascade Brewery is at the end of the street with Mount Wellington standing in the background. Over the last few posts you begin to get the idea that that only way to get away from Mount Wellington is to either leave the area or loose it in the clouds.
Driving through the CBD, we see a few taller (but still not very tall) buildings.
This tower seems to be reaching to the sun.
