Along the Beach and then Inland

A common sight along all the beaches we visited we the sally lightfoot crabs. Named for a dancer of yore, these can curry all over the rocks with ease.

Another common sight are the lava lizards. Brightly colored on the neck and underside, the tops tend to blend in with the lava rocks they crawl on.

I think I've got the same image in here twice, but I like it so we'll keep it.

After we left the beach area, we headed inland to look for birds and found this Galapagos mockingbird perched high in a tree.
