San Cristóbal Mockingbird and the Yellow Warbler

The mockingbirds are where Darwin made his name for sorting them out. This one is endemic to only San Cristóbal Island, hence the name.

These are not striking birds, but they are fun to watch as they fly about and occasionally pose for a photo.

The yellow warbler is a striking bird with the bright yellow markings. This one stopped nearby for a brief rest on a limb.

This warbler is clearly looking for something, presumable to eat.
