Őrjárat utca & Neptun utca

On a stroll about our neighborhood, we found what appears from the location near a current doctor's office building and the signage nearby to be a former hospital. I don't know when this was built, but I find the hint of an onion dome at the top to add a charming lift to this otherwise drab structure.

Just around the corner, is this large brutalist hulk. Like it's older neighbor, it also has most windows broken. A careful look on Google Maps reveals that the old and new are connected suggesting a brief history. The older building came first and perhaps was a doctor's office building or hospital. Then, later, the more modern building was constructed to expand the available space. Now, neither are needed (?) and both are delilict.

Lots of sad buildings to be found all over Budapest.
