The Look of Spring in Snohomish
Here we have a bit unconventional look at the coming of spring to the Pacific Northwest. The big news is that the sun is out (finally!) and we can enjoy the out of doors.
On a short perambulation about 1st Street, I spotted this young lady dressed for the warmer, sunnier weather and asked if I could take her photo. I didn't have enough sense to get her name, but I got a nice photo next to the primroses.
Down by the Oxford Saloon, there are some colorful beer signs on the wall outside in their small outdoor patio. Again, the sunlight is the key component of this: sunlight=warmth->spring. Yeah, it is a stretch, but work with me here!
Here's a slightly out-of-focus view in an antique store window of a hat and leather bag. Clearly, someone is getting ready for travel on this nice warm day.
Bramble is a furniture store. The Snohomish branch is underneath the local frozen yogurt shop. IT is impressive how many signs they have to let you know they are down there. And the alley is also a nice place to spend a few minutes enjoying the budding trees and the gentle breezes.
But if you want the true sign of spring...here it is.
