The Snohomish River
On the west end of the central business district in Snohomish is a bridge for the vehicular traffic in town. On the east end is this railroad trestle. Today I got there at low tide (yes, the river is tidal where we are) and got a few images.
As you can see, we are having the PNW version of a sunny day: not so many clouds that you can't see the sky at all.
I have no idea how the piers and pylons have been in the water here, could be most of a century.
Looking back toward town, we see the backs of some of the buildings and a few nearly horizontal tree trunks.
