Seamus and the Cupcake

The process of toilet training has started and this, naturally, involves a certain amount of bribery. In reward for a day of progress and a minimum of errors, Seamus got a sugar covered cupcake after dinner.



And when I say he "got" a cupcake, I mean he mostly got it all over.

With this conclusive evidence that he actually got some of it, at least, inside him, we can truthfully say he ate it. Of course, when he was done, it wasn't. Most of the cake was left. It seems that when provided with a small cake with a sugary icing, the cake is merely a vehicle food for transporting the icing to the designated location(s).

With any luck, the addition of a handful of sugar and a little bit of cake (some necessarily got in despite his best efforts), will aid in the continued training by "lubricating" the process. In any case, we have a happy boy and that is important too.
