Sky Valley Motorcycle Show

After my adventure across the mountains, Snohomish was treated to the annual Sky Valley Motorcycle Show. First street is blocked off and people bring motorcycles from miles around to compete for trophies and bragging rights. There is also food and lots of bike/biker related stuff for sale.



I made a few images of the bikes give a flavor of the way these machines are tricked out by their riders.

The abundance of chrome meant that most of the images were self-portraits.

But not all normal functions stopped. In a store downtown that sells lots of children's things, a child's barber has set up shop in the back. Sth and Anna took Seamus to get a haircut. He played with trucks while sitting in a car, watching TV and getting his hair trimmed. Good deal for him.

Meanwhile, outside I continued to look for new self-portrait options using the motorcycles.

I'd say a good time was had by all. You'll notice that "Myrtle's" arrival is coming soon. Life here in Snohomish is about to change!
