Long-tailed sylph, Green Crowned Brilliant, Speckled Hummingbird, Peruvian Racket-tail

This iridescent tail belongs to the long-tailed sylph, a most impressive bird. I love the little tuft of white feathers at his butt!
These are, I believe, green crowned brilliants stopping in for a feed.

You can see that there is a bit of rain falling now. But, no worries, we were under a cover (sitting on a couch) staying dry and comfy.

While this is a dramatic pose, it makes him hard rto identify. I'm pretty sure that this is a speckled hummer.

Our friend, the peruvian racket tail, is  pausing between feeding sessions.
