Walking Back from Town

After leaving the antique store, my first stop was along the Snohomish River. here, I found a pair of ducks taking a nap by the water's edge and enjoying the warm sun.

Even this warning sign was well adorned by the flowers in the pot beside it.

Along the Centennial Trail, there are still remnants of the rail line that it replaced.

And lots of tiny blue flowers and fill the empty spaces in the spring are to be found.

I have passed this scene in a nearby yard many times and photographed it on several of those occasions. I have never determined if this is a purposeful tableau or just what the gardener left when they were tired.
