A Walk After A Rain

I find that perfectly normal things take on a new dimension when there are raindrops on them. Something about the added texture and sparkle that does it for me.

Even a simple leaf is more fun and interesting. 

But flowers are the champs for this. The rain draws the eye to parts of the flower you might not ordinarily pay close attention to. I think my new camera and lens really help here as well. Sharp and crisp.

With a bit of depth of field and a sharp lens, these simple scenes take on a new dimension.
