This summer we made a trip to the Pacific Science Center in Seattle with Seamus. One of the most interesting places we saw was the butterfly room.
It Is a large temperature and humidity controlled room filled with butterflies and all their favorite plants and food.
Admission is controlled to prevent the fragile creatures from being overwhelmed by a press of people. Fortunately, we visited during the week when crowds were smaller and had no trouble getting in.
It was easy to walk around the path provided and get quite close to the many beautiful butterflies housed here.
