Cars along the Road
A sight we'd been told of were the abandoned cars along the Great Central Road. I've collected a few to show you the general character of what is out there.
With few exceptions, they are old, rusty, and stripped completely bare. I suspect, that they are scavenged for parts to sell or use elsewhere. the tracks in the sand make it appear that this one was driven off the road recently, flipped and stripped, and left for dead. I really don't know wha the tyre tracks in the dirt mean.
This next one seems to have taken a flying leap in the air, spit out the engine, and landed on its back in a last gasp before death.
This van is still bringing a smile for people who stop and add grafitti.
But inside is a different story. I am struggling to imagine why there are bones in the back floorboard. Could it have been some sort of aboriginal ritual? Doubtful but there are many things outsiders cannot know about their beliefs and activities.
This one is a just a good example of entropy in the world around us.
