Seaside, Oregon

And now for something completely different.

Last April, the family headed south to the coast of Oregon for a little beach time in sunny Seaside. Above, you see Charlie preparing to see if China really is at the antipodes.

The beach was still pretty cool in April, so it was pretty empty. Being on the chilly side is only a problem for us old folks. The littles were perfectly happy to get wet and cold. But there was not much company for such activity.

As you can see, Seth is a real northwesterner with his short sleeves and shorts. Anna is not far behind in dressing as it were warm. E is more sensibly dressed. I have on a sweater.

Seamus has a sand mold for making a castle and is preparing to engage in construction.
