The High Point of the Trip

We loaded up in a sleigh enclosed with plexiglass to keep us out of the wind and, following a map that Seamus drew for our guide, we headed to Santa's house. When we got there, we found the old man seated by a nice fire. He had one of his elves with him (not pictured) to keep everything moving along smoothly.
He, of course, knew all about Charlie and Seamus, their school, their pets, ages, and interests. It was as if he had known them their whole lives. And, of course, he had. He was Santa. The real one.

Both got a present from Santa (with the promise of more on Christmas morning). Seamus elected to hold onto his until Christmas but Chralie opened hers later that evening.

It was a magical meeting for all the children, both young and old.

Smiles all around.
