Waterfall and Forest

We made our goodbyes to the waterfall with one last photo and drive on around to the other side of the lake.

The north side of the lake was less interesting than the south. Her we mostly found dense forest on either side of the road and little to see. However, there was one stretch, at the eastern end of the lake where there were smaller trees in a more open section.

With a little desaturation, this place took on a slightly more abstract look. It felt as if we had stepped into one of these forests seen in a sword and stone fantasy movies. Could be any sort of creature or army coming out of that forest at any moment, right?
