The waves seem to be churning seaweed up from the bottom and carrying it along partway to shore. While the air was not terribly cold, the water certainly seemed to be.
Looking south along the beach, we see a car not to far from us and in the distance there are condos and hotels located several miles from us. There is a bit of curve to the beach.
Looking low over the water, we can see in the distance that there are buildings and what seems to be some low hills.
But the real star of the morning was the sky, filled with dramatic clouds complementing the restless sea.
The sand on which we were parked also reminded us that we were parked on borrowed time. The sea sculpted the sand before we arrived and will as easily erase our tire tracks once we are gone.
