In early April and late March we were having lots of rain in the Seattle area. Typical spring stuff for the PNW. When the sun came out I grabbed the camera and headed outdoors for a few snaps and little exercise.
I found a few spots with a selection of shapes and colors that blend well to make nice compositions.
The promise of spring is always exciting. the small splashes of color lurking in unexpected spots make a walk around the neighborhood a fun excursion.
Although I am posting this spring exploration a few months late, it is still nice to sit on a hot summer's day and let our minds cast back to a simpler, cooler time and enjoy once again the coming promise of spring, if only in our minds.
