Grays Harbor Wildlife Refuge

While at the pacific coast of Washington, we stopped by Grays Harbor Wildlife Refuge to have a look about. We saw about two birds. One was far away and the other was this sparrow.

Clearly, we visited at the wrong time for animal viewing. But we did get to see the plants putting out the first buds of the season.

This refuge is composed of land that would otherwise have little use located between a regional airport and an industrial site. There wasn't much to see here.
