Monty

One of our current charges is Monty. He's an energetic and playful puppy that seems to be everywhere at once. He's always glad to see you and eager to play.



I have a hard time photographing dogs. I like to get close to the animals to get a nice portrait, but, unlike cats, dogs can't stop a meter away they have to come investigate everything with their nose. This means i have a short window of opportunity to get a shot before nose print on the lens happens.

Monty's constant companion, Max, is pretty well blind and for a different set of reasons even harder to photograph. But I'll get him.

These are great dogs. Give me time and I'll get them both.
