Along a River

In the river next to the sandpiper we saw in the posts yesterday, we found a couple red breasted mergansers. They make a handsome pair.

Among the willows we also saw the American Yellow Warbler. He was a hard bird to photograph and one my better images was this one I almost missed as he leapt from the tree into flight.
