Frigatebirds and Boobies

The frigatebirds share this island with the blue-footed boobies. Both birds nest here.

Other than the striking blue feet, these are not remarkable birds until you see them fishing. Then their flying and diving prowess make them really special.

Here is a female frigate bird in flight. This one is young bird as noted by here white head and breast. The golden color develops with age.
