Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge - II

I know that I just showed you photos of a heron, but this one is so nicely framed but his/her reflection, I couldn't resist.

This killdeer, with his distinctive red eye ring, sits not far from the road for our viewing pleasure.

This pied-billed grebe is enjoying a float along on the water that is covered in what seems to be leaves from the surrounding trees.

Meanwhile, this red-tailed hawk is watching very closely for something that looks like it might be yummy and catchable.
