It is always nice to find a 'May-December' kind of composition with fresh flowers framed by fallen leaves.
Since rain is seldom far away here in the PNW, I found fallen leaves with raindrops on them. These silvery additions add a new dimension to the image.
Even lying in the street, these leaves make nice compositions. It seems they have been flattened by cars and likely perforated as well. Then with the added rain, the drops settle over the small holes and create a jewel-studded appearance.
Even freshly fallen leaves in the street are a welcome sight.
