A Warm Fall Afternoon

As we reach the shank of the season, there are still colors and life to be found. This bee is still finding pollen to nourish him and the flowers and still bursting with color.

Even the crocus are showing their wares and standing proud among the leaf litter.

The fallen leaves are showing the early fall mixed colors that signal the changing times.

The flowers and insects continue their annual dance of 'if you grow it, they will come' making the neighborhood a fun place to walk about.

But there begin to be signs among the flowers that the season is nearing its end. Once pristine flowers are showing a bit of wear and tear.
