We're Off for Another Adventure!

After a long summer of relatively few postings, we are leaving tomorrow for another adventure. Now that Seamus and Charlotte are getting settled in, Seth and Anna are both employed and back to work, it seems like  good time for us to go away for a while.



Monday we head to Prague via London for a few days of sightseeing on our way to Budapest. I'm not sure how much of a chance I'll have for posting in Prague but I hope that within a few days of our arrival in Budapest on Saturday I'll back to regular postings.

We have a busy time ahead of us and rather than bore you with forgettable details now, I'll just let the story unfold as we go. It is more fun that way, anyhow. I will say that we will be in Budapest until about the middle of December so expect to see lots of photos of that great city.

 We are in the midsts of sorting our packing. We are flying Norwegian Air and their weight limits are lower than what we are used to. This means that we'll have to carry a few more pounds on our backs than we had anticipated. But we are quite close and I'm sure it will all work. We desperately don't want to take more than two suitcases. Two people with three cases is a real pain as we learned on the last trip. Since we'll be traveling in the fall/winter, the spectrum of clothing is reduced and packing is simpler.

Besides, we never really left this weather this year. The Seattle area has never broken 90F this season and rarely exceeded 80F. We're primed for the continental winter.
