Snohomish Farmer's Market
The seasonal Farmer's Market here in Snohomish has started. It is filled with plenty of folks you only expect to see in the Seattle area.
Wearing a red coat is a statement. But have hair that redder than your red coat is lifestyle. Being thusly coiffed and dressed while buying rhubarb from a farmer in such a hat is pretty much Snohomish.
The flower sellers produce some very nice arrangements.
And in addition to all the jewelry, bread, honey, music, stuffed animals, and wine, you can also get duck and chicken eggs.
We moved from town with a name that starts with an "S" that no one outside the region could spell or pronounce to a town whose name starts with and "S" and no one outside the region can spell or say. Both places have a good farmer's market. Both have fun antique stores. Both have a good pizza place. Both have mountains nearby. Coincidence? I don't think so.
