Menzies
Not far beyond Kalgoorlie is the hamlet of Menzies. Here, there is a roadhouse covered in auto license plates. Not a building you see every day.
Once again, the big attraction in Menzies is the cemetery.
Now you can tell that we are now in the sparsely populated outback. this is an old cemetery and the grave markers are not well maintained.
The open space between graves suggests that there may be lots of unmarked graves here.
Nearby is a dirt landing strip that is used by the Royal Flying Doctors Service to bring modern medicine to this region.
