Coolgardie
On the way into in Coolgardie, we passed a sign for a camel farm. there are places in the outback where people grow/farm/husband(?) camels for sale. We're told that more camels are grown in Australia than in the middle east. It seems the ones grown here are very good for the middle eastern camel races.
In town, the large buildings are few but impressive. The RSL (Returned and Services League) meets in this old hotel.
And across the street is a hotel that seems to be converted to apartments.
This is a small town and the street (there is really not many more than one) is wide and pretty empty. We are in the sparsely populated portion of Western Australia. Hang on, the population density will drop further in the next few days.
