Pike Place Market
Today, we took the bus downtown to the Pike Place Market to see what was for sale.
Since it is spring, there were tons of flowers for sale, including lots of tulips. Tulips are a big deal here since they are grown in quantity north of Everett in the Skagit Valley.
And there are some really beautiful produce on display.
There are well illuminated signs inside the hall to place to see and things to do.
But the tulips are really amazing.
Outside, we see that we had some pretty clear weather and can see the Olympic Mountains across Puget Sound.
The neon signs add an interesting dimension to the place. Even in unexpected places and odd juxtapositions, they add to the character of the place.
