A Visit to Lake Apex
On the way to Ipswich, we left the Warrego Highway, the main expressway, for a while and stopped in Gatton again. We went to Lake Apex to see what was happening with the bird populations now that spring is a little closer. The Australian White Ibis are still out in force.

Lake Apex and Freeman Wildlife Sanctuary & Parkland

After our trip past Gatton yesterday, we decided to go back and spend some time at Lake Apex and Freeman Wildlife Sanctuary. There's a large cultural center there. This seems to be a library, tea room, visitor's information center, and spaces to let for various occasions.
