Since we've had a good bit of sun here in Staunton, I thought I'd share a walk that Raven and I had the other day. We walked up to the top of Cannon Hill to catch a few rays and see the city clothed in its leafy green splendor.
Looking west we see the Alleghany Mountains and everything in between shrouded in lots and lots of trees.
After the climb to the top of the hill, Raven had a few minutes of rest in the cool grass. She's really just resting, not passed out.
One of the great places in Staunton is the soccer field at Mary Baldwin. All the green grass freshly mowed makes for a beautiful spot. I wish everyone sould spend a morning walking a dog in this place.
