We've moved on to the next house sit and met our next charge, Maeve. A very independent calico that spends most of her time roaming out back in the fenced in yard and ignoring us.
We're in the suburb of Coburg. This is a very different neighborhood closer to the city. About 25 minutes for the CBD by train, it's a great location. We rode into the city today for a bit of a look about and it is clear that we need to make a slow trip one so we get off frequently and photograph the graffiti. Some of it is quite good. Two blocks from us is the train station. It's three blocks to the tram which could also take us into town.
There are plenty of Greeks, Turks, Arabs, and Asians owning restaurants, bridal shops, and groceries on Sydney Road. I'll get some photos soon to show you this diverse and interesting community.
