Rotary Overlook
The Tamborine Mountains rise suddenly from the surrounding plain. On the western side there is an overlook maintained by the local Rotary Club.
These three images were made right-to-left at the lookout so you can see the entire view. You also get a bit of a self-portrait with the inclusion of my shadow.
It was a beautiful, clear morning and the clouds dappled the valley below. Seems a bit like viewing the Shenandoah Valley from the Blue Ridge. But here, the trees are all very different and the bird calls give it a quite exotic feel.
