In the Yard at Ipswich
Over the back fence, the neighbors have some manderine (we call them tangerines) trees. These are producing fruit now and there's mandarines on the ground. A Kookaburra came by to sample the local cuisine.
Out int he driveway, we were visited by some Superb Fairy Wrens in full color for mating season.
Notice above that the female has gathered her wings but has not yet touched the ground as you can tell from the separation of the feet and the shadow of the feet.
The males are really amazing to see.
I don't know who or what they are all looking at. I was busy looking at these striking birds.
