The LogInn Hotel

MS Kronprinsesse Märtha, a cruiseship ordered in 1928 was built by the "International Ship-building and Engineering Co" in Danzig. It was delivered in the summer of 1929 to Stavanger, Norway.

The MS Kronprinsesse Märtha.

Today it is the LogInn Hotel, sitting permanently docked along the Södermälarstrand on the north shore of Södermalm. It is located directly across the lake from the beautiful Stockholms Stadshus - the city hall where, among other things, the Nobel Prize banquet is held each year.

The hotel is a quiet and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. However, they range in size from small to tiny.

This is pretty much our entire room. And the toilet is similarly sized.

What makes this place special is the staff. Lancy and Thomas have been really great and most helpful with directions, taxi reservations, luggage storage, and simply being a friendly face.

The food in the bar is really good. The lounge is always available to guests to sit an relax rather than trying to always fit in the small rooms.

I recommend it heartily.  We've had a great time here.
