Close to the wharf in Staunton is an area beside/behind a building that appears to be a spot where workers take a daily break. Or perhaps it is where the night crowd hangs out to party.
Doors and windows are always interesting, this combination especially so. the wooden panel is almost particolored in the way the wood has aged. The window reflection give the impression that there is a tree and blue sky inside the building. But for me, the most interesting part are the two ceramic stand-offs just above the window. There was once electrical wires connected here. Was this tp power a light, an alarm, or merely a stopover on the way to elsewhere?
The symmetry and bright white color of this house make this a fun location. Framed by the blue sky and the bare trees, if is a real southern delight.
And finally, this place just felt a bit spooky shouted by this bare tree. I expected to see Boo Radley creeping behind the open shades.
