Lowell Riverfront Park
This is a house across the Snohomish River that I've photographed before but never from this angle. There's rumors of a little rain coming our way and today we see further hints of same in the gowing array of clouds. We've had very little rain for our region this month and the snowpack is below half what it should be for this time of year. Some water would be nice.
In the bright sun and fluffy clouds, it is feeling warm here even though it is only in the low 70's. This low saturation style give the image the sort of feeling you expect when the temperature begins to go up.
You'll notice that all these images are long exposures...15-20 seconds each. In all of them, the trees are in motion and there is some blur to be seen. This is also why the river looks so smooth and the contrails smeared out.
With a sky full of fluffy clouds, we get a nice peaceful view of the river.
You may also note that I'm experimenting with a new logo/copyright design in the lower left corner.
