At the Nursery Between Showers
Nothing terribly new or exciting to report today, but at least we got out of the house between showers and saw a few things. We're in the changeable times of springs now. It rains had for a while, then the sun comes out. Next, it blows before settling down to a clear, cool sunset.
We headed out to McAuliffe's Nursery today since E has been a major work-in-the-yard mood. I found a few things at the nursery worth a look. The Heuchera above had just had a good watering from the rain. I think that shot looks like the sort of thing that comes as wallpaper on a computer.
There was also an old tractor converted into a water fountain.
For a place with lots of water and gray skies, we do have a few spots of color.
After the nursery, we stopped by the river for look eastward toward the mountains. The interesting thing about the sky you see here is that as I took this photo, it was starting to rain. We took the long way around to the main road and by then it had rain hard for a few minutes and then slacked off. By the time we got home, the sun was out and stayed out all afternoon. You figure that one out.
