Lake Dyer
We visited Lake Dyer and found the water to be very low. These rocks in the background would all usually be underwater. Sitting on them are the Little Black Cormorant, the Great Egret, and the Little Pied Cormorant.
Sneaking into the edge of this photo is a new bird for us, the Australian Pelican. Everybody's fishing for lunch.
This is a better shot of the pelican.
And here's the egret and cormorants.
There is a campground at the lake and a playground. There is also a ramp for launching boats but the current water levels restrict the type of boats to those that don't require a trailer.
