Every year we celebrate Forever Family Day to commemorate our growing family. This year we went to the local fish and chip shop here in Snohomish. At the end of the meal, while mom and dad had a plate of cream, Seamus enjoyed sharing. It is clear that he knows what is coming...his rapt attention is a definite signal.
The slightly furrowed brow shows the concentration required to really get the good out of the bite of ice cream.
Sitting on Dilly's lap with the evidence on his face, we see one very tired but satisfied little boy.
Very shortly after this, he was slumped in E's arms completely asleep; dead to the world. Ain't childhood a wonderful thing?!
