Looking Into the Sun

One sunrise, we got some dramatic clouds in the east over Seattle. With the Indianola pier to our east, I was able to get some dramatic silhouettes of the folks on the pier and the clouds above.

 

The image below gets more of the sky and a good view of the two people on the pier. In the middle distance is a passing freighter.

This is my favorite image from this set. The people, the city, and the seagull all combine to make a well balanced photo.

This last one has a lonelier feel to it with a lone person viewing the far shore.
