Fisherman's Bastion

As part of the wall and ramparts around the Buda Castle and the Matthias Church, we find a fairy tale quality in the Fisherman's Bastion.



This is a monument to the Guild of Fishermen Built in 1895. It is purely decorative.

Thus pointed roofs and complicated stairs and arches really give this place a look that reminds me of the way castles are depicted in children's stories.
