Yesterday we took a short trip to Shorobe, a small village near the end of the tarred road on the way to Moremi. Along the way, we saw a curious thing that we don't really understand. I've searched the web as best I can, but it's no help.
The photo above shows a roadside exhibit of two satellite dishes mounted on poles with no wiring attached. It ain't for TV!
Below are more of the same. There are couple signs included in the list but mostly you'll see scrap pieces of plastic...chairs, jugs, and the like. Our latest theory is that these are property boundary or road markers. Enjoy...
