Dunalley Lookout

So, we finally arrived in Tasmania, picked up Jeannie, checked in with our housesitting hosts, and took our hosts to the airport. After 10,000+ km and an overnight ferry ride, we are finally in our next house sit.

Our first trip out to see the sights took us to Dunalley to enjoy the lookout there.

As is common in Tasmania, is was cloudy and cool. We're still wearing shorts because it is summer, but if this were fall and the temperature were the same, we'd certainly be wearing long pants.

The clouds and the coast line make for very dramatic images. Even though we have enjoyed our travels across Australia, we have missed this place. The temperature and temperament suit us.

Although this is the land of whalers, foresters, and graziers, it has the feel of Cornwall and pirates. So much of the state is forested and natural, one has the feeling that we are in a wild place filled with stories and ghosts. I always feel like we are on an adventure no matter where we go.
