Muir River Observatory

Leaving Albany, we headed inland toward Bunbury and Rockingham. We found along the way the Muir River Observatory. This is a boardwalk from which to see Lake Muir and the surrounding area.

The tar of the visit is the purple flowers blooming everywhere.

The boardwalk takes us out to where we can see the lake.

And if you look closely there may be some water way out there. Interestinly enough, what we mostly saw was this horse staring at us.

In spite of all the rain, like the lake near Norseman, it is mostly empty. Yet, it is a pretty place to visit.

But, these purple flowers really are something.
