The Tasmania Museum and Art Gallery

Another venture into Hobart. This time to see the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. This is an interesting and eclectic collection of history, natural history, and art.

This is the jaw bone of some sort of large prehistoric marsupial rhinoceros on display.

But, in another room, we have more recent artifacts of life in Tasmania.

E even found a mixer suitable for her baking ambitions!

Afterwards, we had a another wonderful lunch at Mures on the waterfront and then walked about the city a bit to see and explore. Here's a view of Mt. Wellington from the wharf.
