Headed North

The house sit in Port Huon has ended and we are headed north to Launceston for the night. Tomorrow we board the Spirit of Tasmania to return north to Melbourne and points beyond.

Our next stop is Ballarat, Victoria about 90 minutes north of Melbourne. We have a night there in a hotel and then on to Castlemaine, Victoria, for the next house sit.

As per usual, there are posts queued for the next week or more from our adventures in the Huon Valley. This will give me time to accumulate some new items to pass along from central Victoria.

And, lest you feel sad to say goodbye to Tasmania, we'll be back! Towards the end of November, we return to Tasmania for six weeks that includes Christmas. This time we'll be in Blackman's Bay, must closer to Hobart. You can expect a very different view of the Hobart area and summertime.

A careful read of the above reveals that there is a big gap between Castlemaine and Hobart again. More details on this gap will be forthcoming.
